Welcome! In June 2011 I walked down from my apartment and into the ER with congestive heart failure, two months prior to my 59th birthday. They were able to put me on track but I am far from finished with this. I am miring with government agencies trying to get the needed treatment to correct the condition and I chronicle my impressions and progress here.

My entire adult life I have been writing and performing/ recording songs- which I enjoy immensely. It’s a huge part of the fabric of my life. I continue doing it as long as I have a breath left in me. Having been unemployed and now essentially retired/ disabled, I’ve devoted more time than in the past to music and philosophical pursuits. This blog is part of my reaching out/ sharing process and also includes my impressions of random things that come or occur to me in my life.

    • Hi there David!
Just getting this due to wordpress.com holding it as spam…
I can only surmise that it appeared to be a solicitation because you mentioned the stem cell fix.
In that case, they are doing a more than adequate job 😉
Thank you for the kind words- I know and trust you meant them. Kudos to you as well. Great job you are dpoing- don’t ever stop.
      Talk soon!

  1. Sir, you remind me of how life should be lived. It’s about passion, doing the things with love. I would not say the cardiac issues would be a curse, but I believe such things allow people to live everyday like it is their last, and live it to the fullest, though I may be wrong about such for I’m only fifteen. From where I come from, Singapore, my passion is usually frowned upon, as it is not realistic for a career, though I do wish to make it big. My poetry comes from the bottom of my heart and I hope it gets more attention. But enough of my rambling, your blog is one I must follow, and I’m sure I’ll be able to put it in a poem, if you don’t mind?
